Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Trays

I bought my HRFD in August 2024 and have been using it again and again and again! From apples and plums and cherries to kale and spinach, stews and lasagnas. It is endless what one can freeze dry. When you don't want to cook dinner you just have to boil the kettle and dinner is cooked! I have also done Salmon, minced beef and eggs and yes a couple batches of candy....skittles and gummy bears! I have only had it for 3 months and have quite the stockpile of meals that are ready to go!
I am very very happy with my purchase. I was not sure which one to purchase but i chose the small, as it is just two of us. And my niece who has a medium is quite surprised at how much I have been able to freeze dry already! I also bought a second set of trays and the snap on lids. They are a game changer! While a set is in the dryer i can prep the next batch so that it is ready to go! And the snap on lids are amazing as they help to stack the trays in the freezer for pre-freezing. I think that has helped me get so much done in so little time.
I am not disappointed at all with this purchase. Yes, at the begining it is a little overwhelming starting as getting used to how the machine works and what setting to set, and what to do if you touvh the wrong setting( did that many times the first month) Just step back take a deep breath and re-read the manual and it will all be okay! And i am lucky to have someone else in my family that has had one for a few years already who helped me with some of the bumps i had. Patience is key and don't stress...it will work out!
